We currently have three stud boys here at Burnthwaites.
- One seal point Siamese stud cat
- One brown spotted tabby Oriental stud cat
- One black Oriental stud cat
All are GCCF registered and form an important part of our own breeding programme. They are also shown regularly and have all achieved excellent results at GCCF shows, which reflects their quality, type and temperament. Two of our boys are proven studs with gentle, affectionate natures that they consistently pass on to their kittens.

Bruno carries dilute and chocolate. PRA negative.
Bruno is a proven Siamese stud cat producing well-balanced kittens with excellent type and loving temperaments.

Rocky carries chocolate, dilute and Siamese. PRA negative.
Rocky is a proven Oriental stud cat with strong type. His kittens are confident, well grown and very friendly.

Cash carries dilute and Siamese. PRA negative.
Cash is at closed stud and used exclusively within our own programme.

Ghost has now been neutered and retired from stud duties.

Stud Work
Our stud boys are primarily for our own breeding program however we are happy to accept visiting Siamese & Oriental queens into stud occasionally. We do have certain requirements that must be met before we accept any queen into stud.
- All visiting queens must be registered for breeding with a bona fide cat registry such as GCCF, TICA or FB.
- Visiting girls must be blood tested within 24hrs of arrival for FeLV and FIV. We must have evidence of testing from your vet.
- Please clip your girls front and back nails.
- Please ensure your girl is free from parasites such as fleas, worms and ear-mites and also in good general health.
Stud Pens
All stud pens are heated and insulated with separate quarters for your girl.
FAQ’s
- Your girl will live with the stud cat for 48hrs from the day of the first witnessed mating.
- When you collect your girl we will provide you with a mating certificate and a copy of the stud cats pedigree.
- If your girl does not have any kittens then please contact use to arrange another mating.
- When your girl has kittens we do restrict the registration of male kittens to the non-active (not for breeding) register. We also place some restriction on female kittens, see individual boys pages.
